傭兵

傭兵とはあらかじめ決まった構成の軍隊であり、ゴールドによって雇うことで一時的に支配下におくことができます。傭兵は襲撃に使うことはできません。傭兵は二つの形態があり、軍事メニューにそれぞれ独自のタブがあります。

統治者は傭兵を三年間雇うことができます。その費用は雇用時に支払われ、期間内は追加の費用は発生しませんが、三年間の雇用期間が終了するまでに契約が更新されなければ傭兵は指揮下から去ります。雇用時に支払った同額の費用を支払うことで契約を三年間更新することもできます。

各文化は、その文化に属する伯爵領の数に応じて一つから三つの傭兵団を生成し、追加で生成された傭兵団ほどより強大で、高価なものになります。傭兵団はその文化の伯爵領のうち一つを本拠地として選び、その伯爵領の外交範囲内に首都を持っている人は誰でも雇うことができます。ただし、自身の文化の傭兵ならば離れた場所からでも雇用することができます。傭兵の範囲にはひとつ以上の特定の常備軍連隊と多数の騎士も含まれています。また、傭兵の連隊は通常の連隊の三倍の早さで補強されます。

聖戦騎士団[編集 | ソースを編集]

聖戦騎士団は彼らの信仰を守り、またその影響を広めるために働く独立した軍事組織です。各騎士団は公爵級の称号を持っています。

統治者は聖戦騎士団の設立のディシジョンを通じて聖戦騎士団を作成できます。ディシジョンのコストに加え、ディシジョンを実行する統治者が自身の持つ城砦または都市領を聖戦騎士団の本部として選ぶ必要があります。指定した本部の称号は貸し出されていて、いつでも称号の保有者は取り消すことができます。聖戦騎士団に貸し出された最後の称号が取り消されると、聖戦騎士団は消滅します。聖戦騎士団が創設されたときに、それを創設した統治者は聖戦騎士団の後援者となり、聖戦騎士団はその統治者の文化と信仰に従います。

聖戦騎士団の宗教の統治者は、宣戦事由とは関係なく、敵意、または邪悪とみなされる信仰と戦っているときに聖戦騎士団を雇うことができます。統治者は同時に一つまでの聖戦騎士団を雇うことができます。統治者が後援者でない限り、聖戦騎士団を雇用すると、その騎士団の持つ最大徴募兵数と連隊数に応じた信仰点を消費します。聖戦騎士団は雇用者が他の信仰の誰かと戦争を続けている限り雇われ続けます。

聖戦騎士団は500人の徴募兵と2人の騎士、2連隊を持ちます。彼らが所有する所領は、追加の連隊と200人の徴募兵、そして2つの所領ごとに追加の騎士を提供します。彼らの常備軍は自身の所領の建物からではなく、雇用した統治者の建物からボーナスを獲得します。

神聖騎士団の本部の最上位の王、または皇帝は神聖騎士団の後援者となります。該当する統治者がいない場合、神聖騎士団の後援者も存在しないこともあります。

後援者はその神聖騎士団と同一の信仰である限り、無償で雇用することができます。また、貸し出している所領を神聖騎士団から取り上げることもできます。神聖騎士団の後援者である統治者は、神聖騎士団に新たな所領の貸与許可を与えるイベントが発生することがあります。もし、後援者が神聖騎士団からの借金を返済できない場合、神聖騎士団は彼らが望む所領(大抵は都市領)を選んで、貸与するように要求することができます。

もし、神聖騎士団が他のキャラクターに雇われていたとしても、後援者は雇用主に対し雇用費の信仰点を弁済することで、神聖騎士団を雇うことができます。このオプションはマルチプレイで他の人間のプレイヤーが神聖騎士団を雇用していた場合には使うことができません。

領主としてではなく、後援者として神聖騎士団に貸し出した場合、その所領からは後援者は、税金も徴募兵も得ることはできません。

神聖騎士団を呼び出した時は、彼らは領域内の最も古い軍の集結地点に集まります。

邪悪、または敵意とみなす宗教と国境を接している場合に、早期に神聖騎士団を設立、または後援者を目指すのは、大抵の場合有利に働きます。他人が雇用しない限り、聖戦騎士団は聖戦において自由な軍として動かすことができます。また、彼らはプレイヤーが関与しなくともひとりでに大きく成長することができ、1044年までに5～6000の重歩兵を供給できるほど成長することもあります。

聖戦騎士団を呼び出すには邪悪、または敵意とみなす相手との戦争している必要がありますが、聖戦騎士団自体は別の戦争の同信仰の軍と戦うことができます。一つの戦略として、邪悪、または敵意となる弱小な国を国境に維持しておくことで、いつでも好きな時にその統治者に聖戦を宣言することができます。同信仰の統治者に対する戦争時でも、その弱小国に対して聖戦を宣言し、聖戦騎士団を呼び出して強大な敵に対して聖戦騎士団を使うことができます。
