評議会(concil)は、6人の特別な封臣(Vassal)もしくは廷臣(Courtier)のキャラクターで構成されており、彼らは所領あり(landed)キャラクターがその領国(Realm)を支配する手助けをします。各々の評議員は一度に一つの任務(task)を遂行することができます。また評議員が指揮官(Commander)を兼ねる場合には、任務に就いている間は部隊を指揮することができません。評議員は他の補助的なメリットと同様にその職(position)に必要とされる能力(primary skill)のライフスタイル経験値(Lifestyle Experience)を得ます。

配偶者(Spouse)の職は所領なし(unlanded)の配偶者または直臣(direct vassal)(ただし間接的(indirect)ではない)である者のいずれかによって埋められます。宗派(Faith)が複婚制(Polygamous Marriage Type)の教義(doctrine)を持っている場合は主要な配偶者(Primary Spouse)がその職を埋めます。主要な配偶者の変更は可能です。

宮廷司祭(Court Chaplain)を変更できるのは、主君(Liege)の宗派に聖職者の任命の教義が「取り消し可能」である場合のみです。神権制(Theocratic)の教義を持つ宗派は宮廷司祭(Court Chaplain)の代わりに領国祭司(Realm Priest)がいます。領国祭司は主君の直轄領にあるすべての寺院(Temple)所領を賃借(liege)し、同じ宗派のすべての封臣の宮廷司祭の税(Taxes)と徴募兵(Levies)の一部を受け取ります。領国祭司は、封臣と同じように税と徴募兵を供出します;もし彼らが主君に対してネガティブな 評価を持っていれば、何も供出しません。より高い評価はより多くの税の供出に繋がります。領国祭司はその主君が自身に対して 強いフックを持っている場合には、評価に関係なくすべての税と徴募兵を主君に供出します。

キャラクターが無能力者 Incapableの特性を持つ場合は評議員には任命されることがありません。さらに宗派が聖餐(Communion)の信条をもつ場合は 破門の特性を持つキャラクターは宮廷司祭もしくは領国祭司に任命されることがありません。

評議員の任務

配偶者でない評議員は、それぞれ3つの実行可能な任務の内1つに割り当てられます。称号を統合領内の開発力上昇を除いて、評議員の任務が変更されるとそこまでの進捗は失われます。

While a Councilor is performing a task, one event related to it can trigger each year. Positive events can take place if the councilor's skill is above 8 and negative events can take place if the councilor's skill is below 15.

備考

  • Strictly speaking, only faiths with the Lay Clergy doctrine have Court Chaplains. However, both the game and this wiki use "Court Chaplain" as a generic term for the Learning-based councillor that includes true Court Chaplains and Theocratic Realm Priests.
