廷臣とは、[[キャラクター|主君]]の宮廷に住んでいる所領のない人物のことです。彼らは[[評議会|評議員]]、[[軍隊|指揮官]]、騎士、[[封臣]] に任命されることができます。宮廷での地位を持たないもしくは [[決断|マイナー称号]] を持たない廷臣の場合は毎月2%の確率でそこから去っていきます。その確率は0以上の[[評価]]の10ポイントごとに{{green|-0.1%}}され、0以下の評価の10ポイントごとに{{red|+0.1%}}されます。さらにこの確率は以下に示す補正を受けます。
